Fotbal Club FCSB (Romanian pronunciation: commonly known as FCSB, is a Romanian professional football club based in Bucharest. It has spent its entire history in the Romanian highest tier, the Liga I.
The original FC Steaua București team was part of the namesake CSA Steaua București sports club and belonged to the Ministry of National Defence. In 1998, the club and facilities were separated from the sports club and taken over by a group of shareholders in a post-Ceaușescu privatization scheme, allegedly leading to one of the shareholders acquiring full ownership five years later. However, CSA Steaua București sued the football club in 2011, claiming that this was a new entity; the two have since been in a legal conflict regarding the ownership of the Steaua brand and honours, which resulted in multiple court cases and the forced change of the name of FC Steaua București to FC FCSB in early 2017.
Domestically, the club has won Liga I 26 times, Cupa României 24 times, Cupa Ligii 2 times, and Supercupa României 6 times—all competition records. Internationally, they have won the European Cup and European Super Cup, both in 1986. They reached the European Cup final once again in 1989, when they were defeated by A.C. Milan. Throughout their history, the Roș-albaștrii also played the final of the Intercontinental Cup, the quarter-finals of the European Cup Winners’ Cup and the semi-finals of the UEFA Cup.
FCSB’s home ground is Arena Națională, having moved here from the Ministry of National Defence-owned Stadionul Ghencea. Initially, the club played in the colors of the Romanian tricolour—blue, yellow, and red—but yellow soon lost its importance and the team became associated with the red and blue colors. Recently, some kits have begun reintegrating the yellow color.
The club has a long-standing rivalry with neighboring Dinamo București, with matches between the two being commonly referred to as the «Eternal Derby» or the «Romanian Derby».
FCSB is Steaua and all Romania knows it .CSA has only like 1000 ultras and they all cheer up with the csa because of their hatred for Becali.Nobody of the legends of the romanian football or big respected people from Romania acknowledge them as Steaua.the only fans of csa ar the ones that Becali throw out from Steaua when they were at his club like Ogararu and Lacatus(currently working or worked for csa)they just suck money from the public and dont let FCSB(real Steaua)to play on Ghencea stadium because they are afraid that it will be sold out tickets.its a lot more to say about this abomination(csa)but I hope you got the ideea.
FCSB It's the real Steaua Bucureşti
Csa is a stinking clone

CSA CSA CSA
Steaua played this season in the 3rd romanian league, against Fcsb2. Steaua placed 1st, and Fcsb2 2nd. There were 10 groups with 10 teams each. For promotion, the teams had to finish 1st or 2nd in the gorup, and then win 2 play-offs, with 2 matches each. 1st team from one group, played 2 matches against the 2nd team from another group, and vice versa. Then, the winners from those 2 play-offs, had to play agains eachother, for a place in the 2nd romanian division.
Fcsb2, managed to win the first leg of the first play-off, with alot of 1st league players, but failed to preserve the result, in the second leg (because they needed the 1st league players at the 1st team), and failed to qualify in the final. Lots of Fcsb fans were dissaponted because they could'nt meet and stop Steaua in the final play-off, but still hoped that Steaua would lose her matches.
Steaua on the other hand, won all 4 of her matches, and promoted in the 2nd league, celebrating at the new stadium with ~3000 fans.
Now, the things get complicated, because a departmental club can't promote in the 1st league (because of romanian state laws), so Steaua must affiliate with a private firm, for 1st league promotion. The complicate part is that the romanian football federation regulations and statute(FRF), and the romanian league regulations(LPF) are contradicting themselves. Both regulations say that the club must change its organisational form, from departamental into private until 1 july (1 year before the start of 1st romanian division), but the FRF statute says that the only criteria for promotion should be the placement on a promotion place. The statute is more powerfull than the regulations, but the media doesn't say anyting about it, so we must wait and see if Steaua will be able to promote in the 1st league, if she will be placed on a promotion place, next year(+change the organisational form until the promotion date).
It's quite awful what's happening with this club. I personally support FCSB, which I find as being "the real" Steaua, but it's a shame for us, the supporters, who are now divided into two teams. I wish everything will be fixed soon, but, man, it's gonna take a lot of time
Well done, man!!! You've managed to make a pretty well documented video!!! Forța Steaua București!!!
FCSB is Steaua. Csa = communism
F.C. Fcsb is not Steaua! C.S.A. Steaua is the club founded in 1947 and which won the European Champions Cup in 1986. Fcsb is a fake club founded in 2003 that illegally used the name "Steaua".
FCSB is Steaua. UEFA said this too. Fuck Talpan and the army and the south lawn
